Job Summary

Nike Energy is seeking a Product Graphic Designer to contribute to the brand's innovative collaborations in apparel and footwear. The role requires a designer who can balance creativity and technical skills, collaborating with various teams to develop unique graphics, prints, trims, and packaging.

Responsibilities

  • Create original graphics, prints, trims, and packaging that align with each product’s unique needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams including Graphic Designers, Color Designers, Materials Designers, Developers, and Product Line Managers.
  • Weave together diverse product worlds with Nike’s vision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-4 years of directly relevant work experience in graphic design.
  • Genuine passion for current and emerging design trends, including contemporary art, sports, streetwear, and youth culture.
  • Proven ability to create concepts, iterate, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present design intent effectively to internal and external audiences.
  • Proficiency in graphic design fundamentals, including drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, use of texture, spacing, scale, visual presentation development, and layout.
  • Knowledge of apparel graphic application, repeat pattern creation, printing techniques for textiles, trim design, and how designs translate from digital to physical.
  • Understanding of apparel product creation and basic garment construction.
  • Awareness of Nike’s brand, design ethos, and cultural relevance; ability to create original graphics that reflect Nike’s design DNA.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and comfort working in emerging digital spaces.
  • Open-minded and resilient problem-solving skills.
