Responsibilities
- Responsible for the constructability, operability, and maintainability of project designs.
- Carry out site surveys, gather information per job scope (with or without client), and walk down drawings to recognize tie points, field routing piping, tray, supports, etc.
- Work closely with Lead Designers and Engineering teams to complete project deliverables.
- Develop design configurations associated with various systems applicable to the project scope.
- Provide comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective technical input into design development.
- Prepare detailed design drawings in accordance with engineering design requirements and project deliverables.
- Maintain and organize a Job Data Book containing all pertinent information used during the design phase of the project.
- Review drawings regularly for completeness, quality, and adherence to standards.
- Ensure all drawings are properly checked and backchecked for accuracy.
- Prepare and/or direct the preparation of final drawing plots and copies for transmittal as part of project deliverables.
- Maintain awareness of project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Aid with project audits when required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 - 20 years working experience
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D - grading and plan/profiles
- Experience with AutoCAD Advance Steel
- Field / Walk-down experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate
- Attention to detail

Preferred:
- Associates degree in CAD
- Previous O & G experience
- Advance Steel Software
