About the role

Crate and Barrel Designers help customers visualize home design trends and build meaningful relationships by guiding them through furnishing projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and provide enriched customer interactions
• Create elevated designs for customers using preferred design tools
• Conduct customer outreach and develop design packages to brand standards
• Ensure timely project completion and adherence to timelines
• Stay updated on brand aesthetics and product information
• Engage customers on the sales floor with selling skills
• Network and build lasting relationships with customers

Requirements

• Understand basic design functions including spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting, and interior design styles
• Communicate effectively and translate the brand vision to customers
• Be proficient in technology such as 2D and 3D tools, Google suite, and video conferencing
• Stay informed on current design trends and industry developments

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in furniture sales, home decor design, or retail/customer service
• Experience working one-on-one with clients and recommending solutions
• Proficiency in Google platforms and virtual communication
• Experience with design tools
