Your Tasks
Your Tasks Champion all design related activity for assigned program(s) throughout product life cycle, from concept generation, development, therefor into optimal solutions.
Active participation in Development Team Meetings (EAK) represents design conformance according to Brose procedures / standards.
Participate in formal design/engineering reviews (Design Checklist, DFMEA, specification review, etc.), and informal reviews with development team.
Ensure designs meet milestones to support releases
Responsible for monitoring of the design’s product conformance, data quality standards, Brose and customer design standards.
Provide support to ensure the conformance of the product to customer/Brose specifications.
Monitor actual project capacity needs during product development
Assist and mentor designers in best practices, kinematics, customer CAD systems, etc.
Consider program development according to product development process (PDP).
Your Profile
- Bachelor degree or ten years related professional experience in the automotive field and with experience with (window regulators, seats, or drives) preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6-8 years of experience CAD Systems: CATIA V5, Enovia
- Ability to Create Kinematics
- Ability to apply FEA results to design
- Tolerance Stack and GD&T Technical product knowledge
