About the role
The primary focus of this position is on modeling and design of mechanical components and systems using Catia. The ideal candidate will participate in regular meetings to coordinate design details with clients, designers, engineers, and management.
Responsibilities
- Modeling and designing mechanical components and systems using Catia
- Participating in regular meetings to coordinate design details with clients, designers, engineers, and management
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Working independently to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Demonstrated design and modeling experience with mechanical components in Catia
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- NX experience
- Knowledge of Aircraft Gas Turbine Engines, Rotors, Shafts and Blades
- Experience with aircraft structures and composites in the areas of Design, fabrication, and analysis of composites, formed aluminum, cast, and other metallic components
- Experience with Fuel, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Valves/Actuators
- Experience utilizing ISO processes in the accomplishment of daily tasks
- Experience with utilizing GD&T
Qualifications
- B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
