Designer - Architecture

Primary Responsibilities

• Support project team in development of the design and production, organization, coordination, thoroughness, and accuracy of the virtual building model and all documents in the drawing set
• Communicate and coordinate with project team members, consultants, and contractors
• Research code requirements and interface with governmental agencies
• Research materials, products and systems
• Work with the project team to produce presentation materials for client and agency presentations
• Coverport and navigate BIM model and other exhibits through Zoom, record and issue meeting notes
• Distribute project deliverables (drawing sets, correspondence, submittals)
• Implement the established graphic standards of the office
• Assist with other office-wide tasks that make day-to-day operations of the office possible

Qualifications

• Accredited degree in architecture
• Two to four years of related professional experience in design and production
• Intermediate technical knowledge of Type V construction
• Demonstrated 3D modeling/BIM proficiency (ArchiCAD preferred, but not required)
• Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills

Compensation And Benefits

• Hiring base annual salary range for this position is $80,000-$95,000
• Any offer of compensation will be determined by a candidate’s education, skills, and experience as assessed during the interview process
