Design Trainee

Responsibilities

• Dive into the department day to day tasks and be assigned daily responsibilities.
• Become involved with hands-on activities that can include working in various software, working on sprinkler system layout, interpreting code, and determining design criteria.

Skills And Competencies

• Excellent written, verbal communication.
• Detail oriented with excellent organization skills.
• Proficient in working with Microsoft Office Products.
• Open to learning new methods, training and development skills.

Physical Requirements

• A mix of an office setting, including sitting, bending, walking and viewing monitors.
• Field project work can include surveying and viewing at heights, working around machinery and large equipment, and keeping a safety-first mindset.
