Design Technician - Site Design/Municipal
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists with basic computer-aided design operations including, but not limited to, annotation, red line corrections, and plan publishing.
- Uses design software programs to draft plans or incorporate information from past, current, and ongoing projects into models.
- Performs engineering support tasks such as gathering data, updating and maintaining computer files, preparing copies of drawings, and documenting design changes.
- Adds basic content to project production sheets including, but not limited to, dimension/layout plans, title sheets, and detail sheets.
- Receives initial instruction or guidance from a supervisor or project manager as work is subject to supervisor approval.
- May be required to work in all types of terrain and weather conditions and on project sites in various stages of construction.
