Design Systems Lead

Significant experience leading and scaling enterprise design systems
Strong background in design operations, UX/UI design, or design system architecture
Expertise with Figma, component libraries, design tokens, and design system governance
Experience partnering closely with engineering teams to bridge design and development
Strong understanding of design-to-code workflows and system architecture principles
Experience preparing design systems, documentation, and workflows for AI-enabled tools and processes
Experience rebuilding or modernizing design systems from the ground up preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the redesign and evolution of the enterprise design system and component library
• R-architect the existing Figma library to support scalable, AI-driven design and development workflows
• Translate creative direction, brand standards, and design guidelines into AI-ready frameworks and documentation
• Develop and maintain design system standards, patterns, components, and governance processes
• Partner closely with developers to ensure design and code alignment through a code-first architecture approach
• Create structured documentation, including design guidelines and markdown-based resources, to support AI-assisted prototyping and development
• Establish processes that enable AI tools to effectively leverage design system assets, rules, and components
• Drive consistency, usability, accessibility, and scalability across digital experiences
• Collaborate with stakeholders across design, engineering, and marketing teams to define the future-state design system vision
