Responsibilities
- Create design packages, drawings, calculations, cost estimates, permits, and easement documentation.
- Review field data, maps, and utility records to develop accurate, high-quality designs.
- Manage multiple projects at once while keeping work on schedule and within budget.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, clients, and utility partners to keep projects moving forward.
- Participate in virtual and in-person meetings to discuss project progress and solutions.
- Follow utility design standards, safety requirements, and industry regulations in everything you do.
- Review your work for quality and accuracy before submitting designs.
- Track project milestones and communicate updates with your team.
- Occasionally visit project sites to gather information and support field activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in a Technical Field or 4-6 years’ related electric utility design experience.
- Proficient experience in software's: ARC FM, ARC MAP, INFOR OR POLEFORMAN, AUTOCAD.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates Degree in technical related field.
