Responsibilities
- Sell flooring products and installation services
- Assist customers with flooring selections by explaining product features, benefits, and warranties
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Maintain strong client relationships
- Network and collaborate effectively with team members across departments
- Utilize company software and databases to research product availability and process orders
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance metrics
- Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and new flooring solutions
Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and project plans
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and RFMS or similar estimating software
- Strong technical knowledge of flooring products and installation methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Good organizational and project coordination skills
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Good color, design, and product coordination sense
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous flooring industry experience
- Project management experience
- Sales experience in flooring, interiors, construction, or related industries
