Design Project Manager - Federal

Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines, while maintaining high quality standards
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering on time, within project and construction budgets and in accordance with agreed-upon scope
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the client throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Develop project scopes and fee proposals through coordination with discipline leads, and leading negotiations with clients
- Create and facilitate communication plans to ensure timely and effective information exchange among project stakeholders and conduct regular status reviews with project teams and clients
- Establish, monitor, and manage project financial metrics, schedules, and staffing plans
- Oversee the development and quality of project documentation and ensure adherence to the Jacobs Quality Program
- Provide staffing development and mentoring for junior staff to include ensuring quality delivery of product completed by all supervised by Civil Engineer
- Provide project quality control reviews at project milestones and continuous “over-the-shoulder” discipline checks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture
- Professional Registration (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) is preferred; Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification will be considered
- 5 years’ Experience as a client facing Design Project Manager managing multiple disciplines
- US Citizenship
- Overseas & US based travel may be required
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Qualifications
- Previous DoD experience, basic competency with Unified Facility Criteria (UFC), UFGS and other Government requirements
- Design Build experience and DBIA certification
- Clearance or ability to secure a clearance

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
