What You'll Do
- Organize and manage construction design packages, design reviews, and deliverables to support all aspects of construction, including scope of work, kick-off, 30%, 60%, 90%, IFP, and IFC, and CA phase and close out
- Utilize technical experience to design complex systems and components to support engineering and construction, from concept level to production, ensuring optimization and efficiency are taken into consideration
- Support feasibility and due diligence efforts through studying utility capacity, estimating load requirements, performing site surveys, and reviewing local codes and utility standards
- Communicate effectively across various cross-functional teams within Tesla, including Construction, Facilities, Workplace, IT, EHS, Project Controls/Estimating, etc. to build relationships and ensure overall project alignment
- Manage customer/end user requests and fundamentally understand stakeholder requirements to convert them into project deliverables and schedules
- Understand different project delivery methods and define strategies for design and engineering deliverables including construction and permit packages for various jurisdictions
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7+ years of professional experience managing complex Design projects with heavy MEP scope for R&D facilities, Workplace, and site infrastructure
- PE license preferred (CA, TX, CO, NV preference)
- Advanced project management skills (managing multidisciplinary teams within A/E firms or owner-side) demonstrating application of project and program management fundamentals to solve complex engineering problems
- Experience with BIM software, including Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Ability to effectively own and execute many projects and tasks in parallel and prioritize critical tasks
- Travel up to 25-33% across the country

$91,200 - $228,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
