Design Project Manager

Job Summary

We are one of the largest mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors in Indiana and among the preeminent specialty contractors in the nation. We specialize in a full range of new and retrofit construction for industrial, food processing, commercial, institutional, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and bio-fuel projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Design Fire Protection Systems for all types of projects
• Design layouts using AutoCAD/HydraCAD and create hydraulic calculations and pipe lists for pre-fabrication
• Develop positive and ongoing relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Provide fire sprinkler designs with AutoCAD, HydraCAD, and AutoSPRINK
• Develop BIM models and perform field surveys
• Create lists for fabrication and coordinate between the trades

Qualifications

• Ace or Technical Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred or equivalent experience
• Examples include: Architectural, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management Degrees
• 3+ years of Fire Protection design experience required
• NICET certification preferred
• AutoCad experience and/or Hydratec Experience required

Pay

Compensation Range: $55,000 - 95,000 annual salary
