Design Project Manager

About the role

The Design Project Manager for the Accounting Vertical will lead day-to-day Design team activities for the CPA Site Solutions product line. This role involves managing inbound custom design queues and contributing to the creation of website designs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the design team, including design queue scheduling, process improvements, performance, quality expectations, and updates.
• Participate in the design and coding activities for client-facing work within the Accounting Vertical.
• Assign work for incoming cases and projects from Salesforce.
• Collaborate with the team to evolve custom workflows, processes, and wireframe models for custom design.
• Serve as a liaison between the design team, sales, and support teams to improve communication and understanding of design capabilities.
• Actively engage in design discussions and critiques to enhance product quality.
• Assist with marketing projects and print collateral as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in design project management, web design, digital design, or a related field, including experience managing projects, workflows, priorities, and cross-functional collaboration.
• A BA/BFA in design or equivalent training.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (CS) Applications and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated experience with Salesforce.com.
• Experience with responsive web design.
• Familiarity with jQuery and JavaScript.
• Experience working in the MS Windows environment.

Physical/Mental Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting.
• May be requested to work overtime and weekends if necessary.
• Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
• Certain management positions may require occasional travel.
