Design Project Engineer (New Grad)

Minimum Responsibilities In this role, you will initially work with and be mentored by experienced engineers. Your initial assignments will include: Designing/drafting for projectsPerforming load calculationsDetermining system sizing and layoutsCalculating equipment sizesSelecting equipmentCompleting field surveysReviewing equipment shop drawings.Coordinating your work with other design disciplines (Electrical/Plumbing/FP).As you gain project experience, you will take on a greater role in leading design assignments, writing specifications, participating in project meetings with clients and other consultants, and supporting construction-phase and/or commissioning work. Qualifications What You Will Need to Succeed BSEE/BSME/BSAE from ABET accredited school.EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) a plus.Internship experience in the MEP consulting engineering field preferred.Intermediate to advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and/or REVIT software.Fundamental knowledge of building systems.
