Responsibilities
- Aid in drawing, presentation, and layout preparation for small to moderately complex projects.
- Support drafting and modeling tasks using firm-standard software tools.
- Involvement in early design phases such as space planning, schematic design, and concept visualization.
- Conduct product, material, and code research to support design development and compliance.
- Collect, organize, and maintain project data, precedents, and technical information.
- Assist in report and documentation preparation for client presentations.
- Support the creation of construction documents under supervision, ensuring accuracy and adherence to firm standards.
- Assist with specifications and technical documentation for senior team review.
- Maintain awareness of applicable building codes and regulations and integrate guidance into project work.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to support project objectives.
- Attend project meetings and contribute to discussions appropriately.
- Pursue professional growth and development opportunities towards licensure (if applicable).
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture required; licensure track preferred.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in an architectural or design setting.
- Proficiency in firm-standard design and documentation software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
