About the role
We are looking for a Design Manager across multiple Southern CA locations, including Ventura, LA, San Diego, and Riverside Counties!
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full design life cycle, from initial planning through project close-out and DSA certification.
- Lead the design process to ensure projects meet all requirements.
- Monitor progress to keep projects aligned with established schedules, budgets, construction standards, and organizational procedures.
- Have DSA project experience, ideally having worked on K-14 and/or higher education projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in design and/or design management.
- At least 5 years of the above experience with DSA projects.
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or a closely related field.
- Experience in the design of large K-14 / higher education projects.
- Knowledge of DSA requirements.
- Licensed Architect - Valid and Current Certificate of Registration as an Architect in California.
