Design Manager, Factory Infrastructure Engineering

What You'll Do

• Fundamentally understand stakeholders’ requirements and translate them into clear project objectives.
• Distill, document and manage scope effectively to support highly dynamic environment.
• Manage infrastructure projects through conceptualization, feasibility, funding, design (30%/60%/90%/IFC), change management, and engineering services during construction.
• Own project funding request process for major infrastructure improvements.
• Cookordination key project schedule requirements with our Procurement and Construction partners for the overall schedule success of the project.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the various cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure overall program alignment.

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary scopes within A/E, Construction, or Design Engineering firms. At least 3 years experience.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with ability to understand complex problems and distill the message into a clear plan to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience designing manufacturing facilities and site infrastructure (e.g. building and utilities).
• Experience in managing engineering resources, aggressive project timelines, and aggressive project budgets for complex engineering tasks.
• Skilled at change & risk management, solving complex problems creatively, and managing critical projects at the macro & micro level.
• Ability to effectively execute many projects and tasks in parallel.
• Positive, self-starting, enthusiastic, fast learner, can-do mindset and passionate about manufacturing infrastructure.
• Thrives under pressure and in ambiguous environments.
• Has a passion for continuous improvement.
