Design Manager

About the role

Lead a team of professionals in the design and implementation of sustainable infrastructure solutions. Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes and budgets, manage project timelines, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive project plans.
• Oversee the technical aspects of projects, including engineering, construction, and maintenance phases.
• Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability standards, and lead initiatives to enhance project sustainability.
• Manage project risks, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Train and mentor junior staff on sustainable design practices and project management techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sustainable infrastructure projects.
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience with sustainable design tools and software.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Fluency in English.

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
