Design Lead

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed daily and monthly store goals by team selling.
• Execute the Comfort Compass process with every customer.
• Maintain and surpass the store's minimum average ticket.
• Maintain and surpass the store's minimum DPC, IH, and TLA percentage.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences and needs.
• Create mood boards and select furnishings.
• Oversight the implementation of design plans.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and collaboration abilities.
• Good product knowledge and expertise in upholstery, TLA, and case goods categories.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D floor planning software.
• Experience in furniture retailing and/or Interior Design field.
• Bachelor of Interior Design, BA, BS or BFA, with ASID, CQRID, or IDS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in furniture retailing and/or Interior Design field.

Pay

Average earning potential: $55,000 – $95,000 (inclusive of base, commissions, and bonus).

Schedule

40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as required.
