DESIGN ENGINEER (WHEELS)

About the role

We are looking for two technical specialists to join our team. While formal diplomas are not required, we are seeking individuals with strong skills and knowledge in electric motor-wheel systems.

Required expertise

• Familiarity with electric motor-wheel systems used in mining dump trucks, trams, electric locomotives, forklifts, and Mars rovers
• Ability to distinguish rotor from stator
• Understanding of torque, forces, energy efficiency, and other electric motor characteristics
• Knowledge of regenerative braking
• Understanding the difference between heat capacity and thermal conductivity

About you

We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds.
