Design Engineer I - Crushing Equipment

About the Role

As a Design Engineer at Superior Industries, you'll play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for our projects. From concept to manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to contribute to all stages of the engineering process.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product design and development for crushing equipment used in processing bulk material and aggregates
• Design and detail custom crushing equipment
• Perform design analysis for components
• Perform testing and prototyping of new products
• Create drawings and bills of material that are accurate and contain all information required by production
• Evaluate and implement design changes
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related education

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver functional, manufacturable designs that meet customer expectations

Pay

The starting pay range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
