Design Engineer

Job Duties

• Work under the supervision of Project Engineers and/or a Discipline Manager.
• Conduct preliminary reviews and markup evaluations.
• Address basic markups and redlines in CAD.
• Mentor entry-level drafters and engineers.
• Follow all standard operating procedures.
• Complete all assignments on time and within allowable hours.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in an Engineering field from an ABET-accredited university.
• Experience: No prior engineering work experience required.
• Skills & Abilities:
• Novice technical comprehension and novice CAD skills.
• Understanding of project scope, schedule, deadlines, and utility locates.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills, a robust work ethic, and a proactive approach to following instructions.
• Receptive to constructive feedback, inquisitive, and eager to learn.
• Understanding of safety concerns and required PPE.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with MS Office Suite.
