Design Engineer | $80/hr Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Author objective, precise, and non-guessable question-and-answer sets based on multi-part CAD assemblies.
• Analyze complex mechanical designs to craft technical questions focusing on geometry and assembly relations.
• Ensure each question has an exact, verifiable answer requiring domain expertise.
• Deliver high-quality written content demonstrating clarity and technical accuracy.
• Collaborate asynchronously to clarify requirements, review feedback, and iterate on deliverables.
• Document insights or ambiguities encountered during the authoring process.

Requirements

• Extensive background in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or industrial design with strong CAD knowledge.
• Significant experience with multi-part assemblies and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with FreeCAD or comparable CAD platforms.
• Proficiency in communicating complex technical concepts clearly in written and verbal formats.
• Demonstrated ability to author detailed technical questions or training material for engineering applications.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing objective, assessment-ready content.
