This role is responsible for coordinating the schedule, issues, and risks of Key Account Engineering projects by monitoring daily tasks and communication, as well as creating reports and updates for members of management. Serves as a liaison between team members and other functions to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and monitoring the daily progress of projects.
- Coordinating project schedules, resources, and information.
- Liaising with functional leaders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Organizing and providing detailed updates to managers and other stakeholders.
- Planning meetings and organizing project logistics.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area; any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.
- On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process. May provide general guidance or training to junior-level support or professional personnel.
Requirements
- Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR an MS/MA and 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
- Certification is required in some areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in preparing and interpreting flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
- Use of Microsoft CoPilot is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Pre-cast and Tilt-up shop drawing creation.
- Knowledge of insulated concrete panel shop drawings is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in an engineering department, particularly with concrete (Pre-cast and tilt-up processes).
- Experience managing a team to meet project deadlines.
- Exposure to or experience in cross-functional work and outsourcing.
