About the Role
- Perform design calculations per ASME code as required.
- Review and apply project specifications and incorporate them into fabrication drawings.
- Serve as technical contact for the shop and outsource fabricators.
- Cookordination with internal departments to establish information needed to complete all technical activities (Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Sales).
- Create and submit all customer approval drawings and calculations.
- Cookordinate with engineering to complete bundle and structural detail drawings as needed.
Qualifications
- 3D Solidworks modeling experience is required.
- Experience with air-cooled heat exchangers or relevant structural design knowledge is desired.
- General mechanical drafting knowledge and experience required.
- Familiarity with weld processes and symbols for vessel and structural applications desired.
- Experience with Driveworks Automation is desired.
- Minimum of 3 years 3D Solidworks modeling experience.
- Minimum of 3 years Mechanical Drafting experience.
Skills
- 3D Solidworks modeling experience.
- General mechanical drafting knowledge.
- Experience with air-cooled heat exchangers.
