Design Director- Design Systems

The ServiceNow Brand & Strategy team is seeking a Design Director to lead the vision for the ServiceNow brand and drive brand design across the organization and all channels. This role requires a passion for strategy, creative development, and meticulous execution.

Responsibilities

• Drive the global brand identity for all ServiceNow products and services to ensure quality, consistency, and scalability across all touchpoints.
• Lead a high-performing team to develop original, breakthrough brand systems, behaviors, and design solutions that serve a global audience.
• Foster and grow brand design culture through enabling world-class design.
• Lead decision-making processes and ways of working to improve performance, quality, and integrated approaches to execution.
• Support the team of creative talent to do their best work.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, and Business leadership to develop holistic brand systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in design, building consumer brands globally.
• 7+ years of demonstrated people management experience coaching and developing team members.
• Experience leading with creative vision, purpose, and innovation.
• Experience driving brand solutions to business problems.
• Experience building portfolio brands and working with brand architecture.
• Experience across integrated design work: traditional, product, packaging, retail, and experiential.
• Experience recruiting talent and developing design careers.
• Experience managing internal, external teams, and agencies.
• Experience collaborating, driving consensus among highly cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Can develop project and initiative presentations from strategy to execution.
• Expert with creative tools, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Miro.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $162,200 - $283,900, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
