About the role
As a Design-Build Structures Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team, you will contribute to the growth of one of the Mountain West region’s leading Design-Build teams. We partner with local and national contractors to provide clients with innovative solutions that drive project success. Our goal is to deliver value-added designs that help our teams excel in the pursuit and delivery of projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead structural discipline engineering teams for Transportation projects (freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural highways, and shared-use facilities) on DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
- Coordinate with other discipline leads.
- Serve as an integral member of the project management and delivery team.
- Lead structural design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
- Apply knowledge and experience with standard bridge industry software.
- Work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
- Commit to assignments on local and Rocky Mountain Region-wide projects.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, and management.
- Meet project deadlines consistently.
- Grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs and drawings that support client goals.
Requirements
- Current PE license; preferred state(s): UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA.
- 10+ years of experience in transportation structures design.
- 5+ years of leading structural design teams for infrastructure projects.
- 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
- Ability to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
- Outstanding client and personnel skills with the ability to communicate persuasively at all levels.
- Organized and detail-oriented.

Pay
$180,000 - $230,000 / year
