About the Role
A Design Build Project Manager oversees civil and heavy/highway projects, ensuring successful delivery from planning through completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Manage budgets, mitigate risks, and ensure schedule adherence
- Coordinate procurement, proposal development, and construction activities
- Perform constructability reviews and monitor project progress
- Communicate effectively with contractors, vendors, clients, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project documentation standards
- Conduct site inspections and oversee project team efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years in Design Build projects
- Heavy civil construction experience preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills
- Ability to read drawings and specifications, work under pressure, and manage time effectively
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to travel
