Design Associate - Wausau, WI

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development of architectural designs from concept through construction.
• Create construction documents, detailing packages, and permit drawings using Revit.
• Generate floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and presentation materials.
• Collaborate with project managers, field staff, consultants, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct field verification, site visits, and construction administration activities.
• Review project information for accuracy, constructability, and coordination.
• Assist with material selections, finish coordination, and interior design elements as needed.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• One to three years of experience in architectural drafting, construction documentation, or related design experience.
• A degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field preferred.
• A strong understanding of construction documents and architectural detailing.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with both office and field teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and take initiative while also collaborating effectively.
• Experience in commercial projects is preferred but not required.
