Design Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Design Architect to join our Architecture & Interior Design Practice Area. The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of architectural experience, including project management, and be licensed as an Architect. Additional experience in historic preservation architecture & planning or transit & infrastructure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage design coordination with the Principal
• Lead teams of talented architects and designers on various projects
• Work on large-scale new design and construction projects for private and public clients
• Conduct renovations of existing buildings
• Design public streetscapes and placemaking

Requirements

• Minimum of 7-10 years of architectural experience
• Licensed Architect
• Self-motivated team player with a passion for learning
• Proficient in Revit
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Based in Chicagoland (hybrid work)

Qualifications

• Experience in architecture and interior design
• Experience in historic preservation architecture & planning or transit & infrastructure (preferred)

Pay

$90,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience
