Responsibilities
- Define and maintain security standards, architectures, and baselines for on-premise Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Purview and Azure environments, including privileged access and Zero Trust principles as well as Email and Communications Security
- Guide, steer, and supervise third-party service providers responsible for implementing and operating security configurations, ensuring alignment with internal policies and best practices
- Govern identity and access management, including privileged access management, conditional access, and continuous improvement of Zero Trust capabilities
- Support and coordinate security monitoring and incident investigations using Microsoft audit and logging tools, SIEM platforms, and endpoint detection solutions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to design secure network and cloud architectures, including firewall and secure access solutions, and ensure regulatory and policy compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cyber security, with a strong focus on identity, cloud, and network security in enterprise environments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical competence)
- Deep technical expertise with Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure security, privileged access concepts, Zero Trust, secure network design, and firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Checkpoint), including SASE and remote access
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven experience in investigating and interpreting security events using Microsoft security logs, Splunk, and CrowdStrike, and driving remediation via service providers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience collaborating with external partners or managed service providers; bonus points for certifications (CISSP, CISM, AZ-500) or scripting/automation capabilities

Pay
Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53 241,02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conforming overpayment.
