Dermatology Subject Matter Expert | $170/hr Remote

About the role

Contractor assignment. Remote position based in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Review dermatology images using a structured online evaluation tool.
• Assess image quality and diagnostic usability.
• Identify concerns such as blur, lighting, exposure, colour, and framing.
• Where applicable, identify likely skin conditions, assign confidence ratings, and document rationale.
• Review AI-generated medical text for accuracy, harmfulness, and completeness, with a focus on dermatology.

Requirements

• Based in the USA.
• Licensed Medical Doctor (MD or MBBS) with specialization in Dermatology or equivalent qualification.
• Must be fully licensed and practicing medicine within the USA.
• Minimum 5 years of post-residency experience practicing as a dermatologist.
• Strong visual attention to detail.
• Comfortable reviewing sensitive or graphic medical images.

Pay

$120–$170 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time or part-time (20–40 hours/week), with at least 4 hours of PST overlap during business hours.
