This position is for an experienced APP looking to transition into dermatology through a rigorous training process with board-certified dermatologists. Supervisor & Location
The primary training physician will function as the supervising physician for the initial 3,000 hours in the practice area. This position is for offices in Colorado Springs in addition to Pueblo, satellite clinics (La Junta, Hugo), and any additional clinic sites assigned.
Training Period
The training period is 2 years. Exceptional candidates may complete the program earlier but no earlier than 3,000 clinic hours and 1.5 years.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation will increase by phase, starting at $120,000. Timing will depend on a provider's dermatology medical decision-making and clinical volume.
- Additional benefits include medical benefits, 401K, paid time off, malpractice, and CME.
- Other benefits are in accordance with Vanguard’s benefits policy.
Qualifications
- 4+ years’ work experience as a PA or NP, preferably in primary care
- Excited about serving patients in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and our surrounding underserved communities
- Track record of strong performance
- Willing to take a training approach that requires mastering the basic building blocks of a clinical position

$120,000 starting salary, with potential for increases based on performance and clinical volume.
