About the role

The incoming Dermatology APP will support an established and growing patient population in a busy suburban market just outside the Washington, DC metro area. The day-to-day role includes evaluating, diagnosing, and treating dermatology patients within PA-C scope of practice, with exposure to general, medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology based on experience, training, and practice needs.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat dermatology patients within PA-C scope of practice
  • Exposure to general, medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology based on experience and training
  • Build or expand a patient panel in a growing suburban market

Requirements

  • Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) preferred
  • Active or eligible Maryland PA license
  • Dermatology experience preferred but not required
  • Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care

Schedule

Full-time schedule is four days per week.

Practice Team and Support

  • 1 General Dermatologist
  • 3 Advanced Practice Providers
  • 1 Mohs Surgeon
  • Supportive clinical and administrative team

This team structure gives the incoming PA-C immediate physician collaboration, APP peer support, Mohs access, and the opportunity to grow a patient panel quickly in a high-demand dermatology market.
