About the Role
A Global Bank and Financial Services Group is looking for a lawyer with 5+ years' experience in Securities Law, Derivatives, Structured Finance, and Banking for an ongoing engagement starting as soon as possible. The work will involve providing interim support to an asset management legal team on a range of derivatives, repo, futures, clearing, and account control transactions.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and amend a broad range of trading and financial agreements, including:
- ISDA Master Agreements
- Credit Support Annexes (CSAs)
- Master Confirmation Agreements (MCAs)
- Master Repurchase Agreements (MRAs)
- Global Master Repurchase Agreements (GMRAs)
- Master Securities Forward Transaction Agreements (MSFTAs)
- Futures account agreements
- Cleared derivatives addenda
- Execution and give-up agreements
- Account control agreements
- Related amendments and ancillary documentation
- Support the preparation, review, and negotiation of sponsored repo and U.S. Treasury clearing documentation, including:
- SIFMA Master Treasury Securities Clearing Agreements
- Treasury Clearing Annexes
- Sponsored membership agreements
- Reimbursement and security agreements
- Asset restriction agreements
- Collateral-in-lieu agreements
- Related clearing and collateral documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience with Securities Law, Derivatives, Structured Finance, and Banking
- Ability to work full-time
- Employment through an Employer of Record (W-2) for the duration of the engagement
Key Details
Location: hybrid, 2-days per week in Manhattan, NY, though well-qualified remote candidates are still strongly encouraged to apply
Schedule: Full-time
Duration: Ongoing engagement
Compensation: $130 - $160 per hour
