About the role

Susquehanna Financial Group, LLLP (SFG) integrates expertise in trading, research, and sales to provide value to our client base of mutual funds, hedge funds, and pension/endowment funds. As a member of our Derivatives Sales Trading team, you will engage directly with clients, execute order flow, and provide market-driven insights. This role involves close collaboration with our derivatives trading, strategy, market intelligence, and equity research teams.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with clients to execute order flow and provide market-driven insights
  • Collaborate with derivatives trading, strategy, market intelligence, and equity research teams
  • Evaluate market trends, interpret options flows and positioning, and assess strategy feasibility
  • Analyze volatility surfaces, skew, term structures, and other critical options metrics to inform trading decisions
  • Build and foster strong, collaborative relationships with institutional clients and internal counterparts
  • Evaluate and interpret market data to make strategic decisions
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Take initiative and continuously learn new skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in sales trading, ideally with a focus on derivatives
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Deep understanding of options pricing, volatility modeling, and derivatives markets
  • Expertise in examining volatility surfaces, skew, term structures, and other critical options metrics to inform trading decisions
  • Experience with Python, SQL, or VBA preferred

Skills

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Expertise in options pricing, volatility modeling, and derivatives markets
  • Ability to analyze volatility surfaces, skew, term structures, and other critical options metrics
  • Experience with Python, SQL, or VBA

Pay

The annual base pay range for this role is $175,000 - $225,000 + discretionary bonus + benefits. Susquehanna considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, key skills, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
