Duties
- Serve and protect the community by enforcing laws and maintaining public safety
- Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence for criminal cases
- Ars arrest and detain individuals suspected of committing crimes
- Complete detailed reports
- Testify in court
- Transport and escort prisoners to and from court hearings and detention facilities
- Serve legal documents such as warrants, subpoenas, and court orders
- Maintain order in courtrooms and provide security for judges and other court personnel
- Assist other law enforcement agencies and emergency services as needed
- Attend community events and engage with the public to build positive relationships and prevent crime
- Any other tasks assigned by the Sheriff or Chief Deputy
