Deputy/Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Internal Operations

Responsibilities
- Serves as a member of the leadership team and lead daily department management in the Director of Athletics absence.
- Represents the University of Chicago Athletics Department as the Senior Woman Administrator (SWA).
- Develops and implements an overall recruiting plan.
- Manages the Department's community engagement activities.
- Ensures student-athletes and athletics representatives comply with NCAA and University rules and regulations.
- Collaborates with senior leadership team to optimize event management and facility scheduling.
- Manages a team of managers and professionals responsible for the planning, coaching, recruiting, administration, and promotion of University intercollegiate athletics programs.
Requirements
Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field. Knowledge and skills developed through 7+ years of work experience in a related job discipline are preferred.
Qualifications
Education: Advanced degree. Experience: Seven years of athletic administration experience. Managerial experience. Certifications: Valid driver's license. Technical Skills Or Knowledge: Proficient in computer skills, Microsoft Windows computer environment, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and other software. Strong knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Pay
The included pay rate or range represents the University’s good faith estimate of the possible compensation offer for this role at the time of posting. Pay Rate Type: Salary. FLSA Status: Exempt. Pay Range: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00.
