Deputy Risk Manager

About the role

The Deputy Risk Manager will be the point of contact with cyber risk management partners and insurance carriers and follow up with members who need support with cyber security risk management practices. The DRM will also assist member schools with developing and disseminating best practices, required written plans, standard operating procedures, and outreach materials with regard to dangerous activities and hazardous conditions that may exist in or around school facilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with members who need support with cyber security risk management practices
• Aid member schools in developing and disseminating best practices, required written plans, standard operating procedures, and outreach materials regarding dangerous activities and hazardous conditions in or around school facilities
• Be a point of contact for a web-hosted training site and promote its use
• Provide assistance to the Director of Insurance as well as the Risk Manager

Requirements

• Ability to objectively analyze data and information to understand cyber risks in schools
• High intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
• Experience, schooling, or knowledge of safety procedures, applicable regulatory requirements in schools, and loss prevention including injury prevention and safety
