Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute IT projects.
- Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, and appraise job results; coach, counsel, initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
- Create and maintain project deliverables to include project charters, schedules, plans, dashboards, and requirements documents.
- Brief senior leadership on a regular basis on status of projects.
- Cook up with various technical and business personnel and coordinate resources and timetables.
- Understand cybersecurity requirements related to the project.
- Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Provide technical, administrative, and operational management to assigned projects or task(s), including contract and subcontractor management.
- Maintain personnel recall and database.
- Maintain employee training certifications and resumes in the GDIT's document repository.
- Coordinate hiring, reassignments, and terminations with HR Business Partners and Recruiters as applicable.
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Experience: 7 years IT project management experience leading both complex and small IT projects.
- Previous Cyber and Network Operations experience preferred.
- Strong DoW subcontracting experience.
- Skills and abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills. Strong problem solving and team building skills. Mission focused mindset that thrives on delivering positive outcomes and takes pride in accomplishing goals on time and within budget. Operates with transparency across corporate and customer contacts.
- Certifications: Current PMP required. Experience with ITIL and ServiceNow preferred.
- Education: BS/BA Degree.
