About the role

As a Deputy Program Manager of Operations (DPMO), you will lead cross-functional teams within manufacturing in support of our Airborne Systems business unit. In this role you will be responsible for the overall manufacturing execution of the programs that you support, including all cost, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project performance, cost, scope, and schedule
  • Generate, analyze, and monitor budgets and schedules
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration within teams and Subject Matter Experts to ensure health of overall program
  • Perform analysis of work flow and load balancing; take appropriate action
  • Assess risk and scope changes that may impact program cost and schedule
  • Implement new processes, documentation, and quality/process controls
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Lead complex projects with successful outcomes
  • Write technical papers and proposals
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience, plus minimum 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with manufacturing operations, process development, and control
  • Analytic and problem-solving skills, with advanced decision-making ability
  • Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task
  • Proficient understanding of earned value tools
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
  • Experience with new product introduction manufacturing and transitioning new programs from development to production
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or a related Science/Engineering field
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success

Pay

Target salary range: USD $118,570.00/Yr. – USD $131,539.00/Yr.

Schedule

This position follows a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).

Workplace

This position is on-site in Bloomington, MN.
