Responsibilities
- Manage all legal activities relating to land acquisition, joint venture projects and property development.
- Verify title deeds, mutation records, khatians, maps, land tax records and other ownership documents.
- Draft, review and vet Sale Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Vendor & Contractor Agreements, Power of Attorney, Legal Notices etc.
- Maintain effective liaison with Ministry of Housing & Public Works, RAJUK, Sub-Registry Offices, AC (Land) Offices etc.
- Cook up verification of land records with Sub-Registry Office, AC (Land) Office, Land Survey Office, RAJUK, City Corporation and other relevant authorities.
- Coordinate with external lawyers regarding court cases and legal proceedings.
- Ensure timely renewal of licenses, registrations and statutory approvals.
- Maintain proper custody of original title deeds, Agreements, Court documents, Legal notices, Government approvals, Registration documents.
- Cook up coordination with Logistics, Engineering, Sales, Finance and departments.
- Any other task given by the management.
