Deputy Director of Investor Relations
About the role
The Deputy Director of Investor Relations supports the Global Head of Investor Relations in developing and strengthening relationships with RIAs (registered investment advisors) across the global alternatives market. As a key ambassador for With Intelligence, this role is responsible for communicating the company's strategy, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring our conferences and investor initiatives remain highly relevant to the allocator community.
The candidate will build and engage the audience for approximately 3 wealth investment conferences annually, cultivating senior investor relationships through proactive outreach, face-to-face meetings, industry events, and ongoing market intelligence. The Deputy Director plays a critical role in shaping conference programs by identifying leading RIAs for speaking opportunities, advisory boards, and exclusive investor initiatives.
Success in this role requires strategic relationship management, a deep understanding of institutional investing, and the ability to collaborate closely with the Content Director, commercial team, and event leadership to deliver best-in-class investor experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain senior relationships with RIAs through meetings, calls, conferences, and ongoing engagement.
- Serve as a trusted source of market intelligence by staying current on industry trends, investment priorities, fund launches, manager activity, and senior leadership moves.
- Identify and recruit high-quality RIAs for conference speaking opportunities, advisory boards, roundtables, and exclusive investor initiatives.
- Partner with the Content Director to shape conference agendas based on current investor interests, emerging themes, and market developments.
- Work with the Global Head of Investor Relations to develop and execute investor engagement strategies that strengthen With Intelligence's position within the institutional investment community.
- Capture insights from investor meetings, including market trends, survey ideas, panel topics, and content opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of investor interactions, investment strategies, and market intelligence within Salesforce.
- Represent With Intelligence at industry conferences and networking events, acting as an ambassador for the business and expanding the firm's investor network.

- Strengthen With Intelligence's reputation and visibility among RIAs.
- Increase allocator engagement across conferences, advisory boards, and exclusive networking initiatives.
- Deliver high-quality investor participation across approximately 3 events each year.
- Generate actionable market intelligence that informs conference programming and business strategy.
- Foster long-term relationships that drive repeat engagement across the With Intelligence portfolio.
Requirements
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior RIAs.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of investment markets, private markets, and alternative assets.
- Strong understanding of how to qualify RIAs.
- Ability to translate investor feedback into innovative conference sessions, networking opportunities, surveys, case studies, and other engagement initiatives.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends and emerging investment themes.
- Results-oriented with a proven ability to build relationships and achieve engagement targets.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Willingness to travel regularly to conferences, client meetings, and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with RIAs, private markets, or financial services.
- Existing network within the RIA or alternative investment community is highly desirable.
- Experience speaking with senior executives and representing an organization at industry events.
Pay
Anticipated base salary range for this position is up to $120,000 per year. Final base salary will be based on the individual’s geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan.
