As Deputy Finance Director, you will:Oversee the hospital's annual budget and keep it in line with County, State, and Federal requirementsDirect cost accounting, general ledger, and insurance billing and collectionsPrepare cost reports and lead audit activity with County, State, and Federal agenciesManage contracts, leases, and inter-agency agreementsSupervise and develop a professional finance team, and step in for the Finance Director when needed What we're looking for:A bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field (including at least 12 semester units of accounting) Four years of professional accounting or auditing experience, including one year supervising complex cost reports or budgets What we offer:Salary of $157,671 to $191,650 per yearFour medical plan options, plus dental and vision coverageCounty pension through SJCERA, a 457 deferred compensation plan, and a 2% County contribution to a 401(a) plan14 paid holidays, vacation, administrative leave, and sick leave with unlimited accumulationEducational reimbursement for career-related coursework Apply by November 20, 2026.
