About the role
The Deputy Director of Eligibility, Policy, and Quality supports the Division's operations through strategic leadership and oversight in areas such as waiver eligibility and enrollment, quality initiatives for Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), Medicaid waiver management and compliance, policy oversight and legislative coordination, and Special Health Care Programs.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Division's operations through planning, coordinating, and implementing the overall quality strategy for the provision of community-based services.
- Provides policy and waiver management to support the provision of services, to comply with waiver requirements, and to conform with any state and federal laws and regulations.
- Manages the program operations of the Special Health Care Programs.
- Manages the eligibility and enrollment process to support quality and timely customer service for participants seeking access to services.
- Manages the data analytics team.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in human services, public/business administration, social/behavioral science, or closely related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience working in program oversight, policy development, and/or quality management that supports persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities or physical disabilities and the aging populations.
- Must have at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
