About the role

This is a unique executive leadership opportunity to join one of the world's leading swine genetics organizations at a pivotal moment of growth and succession planning. Reporting directly to the Director of Topigs Norsvin USA (TNUSA), the Deputy Director will lead the company's Sales & Marketing and Health & Technical Services divisions, overseeing high-performing teams, strengthening customer engagement, and driving strategic execution across the business. Designed as a key succession role, this position offers a clear path to expanded enterprise leadership and eventual progression to Director, with increasing responsibility across Supply Chain, Finance, HR, IT, and R&D.

The ideal candidate will be a respected swine industry leader who can build alignment across teams, establish strong relationships with major customers and industry stakeholders, and confidently represent the organization throughout North America. Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to and a framework for the TNUSA
  • Lead Sales & Marketing and Health & Technical Services Divisions
  • Drive commercial execution and customer engagement
  • Operate as an independent decision-maker
  • Partner on strategic planning and growth initiatives
  • Build leadership capability across the organization
  • Progress toward Country Director through structured development

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in an Agricultural related field or a combination of equivalent education/field experience
  • Minimum of 5–10 years in swine production
  • Previous management experience
  • Excellent animal husbandry skills
  • Herd performance data interpretation and trouble-shooting skills
  • Data input, spreadsheet analysis, and computer skills with general and specific software
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office suite programs, particularly Excel
  • Current valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel extensively among TNUSA facilities, often involving overnight stays

Pay

Salary Range: $175,000 – $200,000 + 15% Bonus
