About the role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Design Manager in Dallas, TX. This role provides design management administration to projects and assists in establishing project-specific objectives and policies. You will offer technical direction and guidance to other managers, enforce company and project policies, maintain close client interface, and ensure all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule in coordination with other managers and supervisors. Responsibilities include working with architecture and engineering firms while overseeing projects through the design phase.

Responsibilities

  • Provide design management administration to projects.
  • Assist in establishing project-specific objectives and policies.
  • Offer technical direction and guidance to other managers.

  • Maintain close client interface.
  • Ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Coordinate with other managers and supervisors.
  • Work with architecture and engineering firms to oversee projects through the design phase.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: BA/BS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Preferred: Education experience is a plus.

Sponsorship is not available for this role. All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
