Responsibilities
- Break down and distribute product loads to proper routes and make adjustments where necessary
- Ensure appropriate products are delivered to each route in a timely and orderly fashion
- Report to Market Manager, Sales Supervisor, and/or lead person where applicable
- Unload product from daily transports
- Reload transport with empty trays
- Remove substandard product where necessary
- Separate loads according to the load sheets
- Properly rotate stock product evenly to routes
- Add or cut overages and shortages between routes
- Keep record of stock product
- Record all overages and shortages from each bakery
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have a valid Driver License
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Must be able to lift heavy objects repeatedly
- Previous experience in a warehouse position (preferred)
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work overnight
